PRICING

Charges consist of a fee to convert your movies to digital format (the per-reel fees are listed immediately below), plus, if necessary, a $13 charge to ship your film and DVDs back to you with $100 insurance. If you would like additional copies of your DVDs, they will be provided at a cost of $10 for each disk.

Here's the list of the conversion fees:

        $45 per 7-inch reel of film (roughly 400 feet, or 24 minutes)
        $35 per 6-inch reel of film (roughly 400 feet, or 18 minutes)
        $25 per 5-inch reel of film (roughly 200 feet, or 12 minutes)
        $8 per 3-inch reel of film (roughly 50 feet, or 3 minutes)
        $20 per VHS/Hi8/miniDV videotape cassette (up to two hours) to a single DVD
        $25 per slideshow DVD (up to 200 digital photos; additional digital photos cost $.15 ea)

Assume, for instance, that you have two 7-inch reels and one 5-inch reel of film that you would like converted. Based upon the figures shown above, you have about 1000 feet (1 hour), which would cost $115 to transfer to DVD ($45 + $45 + $25). If you don't live locally, a $13 fee to insure and ship the film and DVD to you would result in a total bill of $128. That charge would be for one DVD; if you would like a second copy, it would cost $10 more.

Please note that there is a minimum fee of $20 per order. So, if you need only TWO 3-inch reels converted, the $16 fee for that service (2 x $8) will not meet the $20 minimum, and you will therefore be charged $20. If, on the other hand, you have THREE 3-inch reels, the $24 fee (3 x $8) will be greater than the minimum, and you will be charged $24.
